Some Thoughts About the US Soldier Captured by Taliban

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/worldnews/article-1200699/Obamas-war-crisis-Taliban-release-video-kidnapped-U-S-soldier-begging-freedom.html

So I am reading this article about the young man who was captured by the Taliban in Afghanistan and a few things caught my attention:

"The Pentagon said the video was a violation of international law."

Pentagon spokesman Colonel Greg Julian said: "We condemn the use of this video and the public humiliation of prisoners. It is against international law. We are doing everything we can to return this soldier to safety."

When are these people going to understand we are not fighting a war against another country that believes in the Geneva Convention or will not do something because the United Nations said it wasn't ok. We are fighting people who want to see the United States culture totally erased from the earth. They want every man, woman, and child in this country dead. You can't fight a clean "fair" war against this kind of enemy. Don't expect them to not torture, use suicide bombers, and kill innocents every chance they get. Until the higher ups in Washington say screw the UN and decide they are going to fight this war like they want to win it, our young men and women are going to continue to be killed.
