And Another from the Doesn't Congress Have Anything Better to do File?

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2009/07/07/jacksons-death-sparks-fierce-debate-congress/

So before it was discussing the college football playoffs and now Congress is being called on to recognize Michael Jackson as a "Humanitarian" for all the work he has done to fight world hunger and to raise money for AIDS/HIV research. Rep. Shelia Jackson-Lee is calling on Congress to bestow this honor. The guy did alot of good and I understand that but we are facing the worst unemployment numbers in 26 years and by just about all accounts it is going to get worse, our budget deficit is soaring to record numbers, and North Korea is testing new missiles about once a week. Come on Congress wake up we have alot more important things to deal with than naming a dead man a humanitarian or not, which will have zero affect on anything other than maybe making his family feel good about their brother, son, father.
